Xara is a multibit integrated CD-player containing a non-feedback,
Class A, single-ended analog amplifier.
The Xara contains five separate power supplies to ensure lowest
possible interference between the different digital and analog sections.
More than 18000 uF filtering capacity combined with the best component
quality available provides the proper filtering necessary for taking
care of digital noise and reducing jitter.
The single-ended non-feedback Class A analog amplifier is based
on current amplification to handle the output current signal from
the D/A converter with as little distortion as ever possible. Actually
the analog music signal passes only two transistors before leaving
the Xara with 1.25 Volts RMS output level!
All parts of the Xara are mounted on a highly stable steel chassis.
Furthermore the chassis is mechanically damped by using heavy bitumen
plates. For electrically damping carbon foam plates are placed inside
the cabinet taking care of high frequency digital noise.
